Patricia “Trisha” Itzel graduated from the University of Maryland with a Master’s degree in Social Work. As a natural listener with a passion for helping others, Trisha was drawn to the mental health field and the opportunity to support individuals through life’s challenges. She believes that positive change is possible and is honored to walk alongside clients as they navigate their struggles, build resilience, and pursue healing.
Trisha is also an approved supervisor by the Board of Social Workers in Maryland and Virginia. She utilizes multiple therapeutic modalities to support clients in achieving their goals, improving daily functioning, and enhancing overall wellness. Her primary modalities are a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Humanistic Therapy rooted in positive psychology.
Clients can expect a warm and welcoming environment where they feel comfortable being vulnerable and exploring their internal conflicts. Trisha’s collaborative approach fosters a genuine therapeutic relationship where clients feel supported in opening up, identifying their goals, and making positive progress.
