Madeline Brown, Clinical Intern

Practicing Since 2023

Madeline is committed to creating a warm, inviting, an open atmosphere were clients can express themselves freely and share their most intimate and vulnerable details about their lives in a space free of judgment and criticism. Her hope is that she will be able to meet them wherever they are in their journey and  help them to reach goals that are attainable and desired by the client.

She utilizes solution-focused therapy, and loves to integrate more post-modern approaches to positive psychology while using evidence-based treatment approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy.

Currently in her last year of graduate school, Madeline is looking forward to obtaining her master’s degree in Counseling and beginning her journey in the field.

When she is not working or focusing on her studies, Madeline enjoys riding horses and competing in hunter jumpers. Combined, with her mom, she keeps 6 horses at their family farm, which is most often where you will find her on a weekend. She also enjoys sailing and boating on the Chesapeake Bay, as well as reading fiction novels and listening to podcasts in her spare time.

Madeine is under the clinical supervision of Steve Osterhout (License Number: LCSWC 09238).
