Elaine seeks to provide clients with a warm, judgement-free atmosphere in which they can feel free to lay down their burdens. Elaine will walk with client’s as they seek to identify current issues in their life, heal from past wounds, and become empowered for the future. She utilizes Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Solution Focused Therapy. She enjoys a collaborative approach using therapeutic tools with prayer and scripture integration.

Elaine holds a Master of Science in Professional Counseling from Grand Canyon University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Ohio Christian University. Elaine is a former police officer who retired after 30 years of service as an investigator for the Office of Public Defender’s Mental Health Division. Elaine was certified as a Therapeutic Foster care provider for several years.

Elaine was a youth pastor for five years in a Korean- American church. She holds an affiliation with the American Association of Christian Counselors. She believes her Christian background gives her a genuine desire to help people heal and enjoy life more abundantly. She believes that God’s Word integrated with effective theories provides a holistic approach to healing in ways that bring positive change.

Elaine is married with three sons. She is the grandmother of three little bundles of joy. Her hobbies are to travel, fishing, and action movies.
