Cameron Harris-Swan, LGPC

Practicing Since: 2019

Cameron is passionate about helping people. He has been trained to provide clinical mental health counseling at the master’s degree level. His experience consists of providing individual, group and family counseling.

Cameron believes that the mind is the driving force behind what we experience and how we process life. He believes that it is responsible for what we think, what we feel, and how we behave. For these reasons, Cameron’s goal as a counselor is to challenge the stigma associated with seeking counseling and to raise a standard that normalizes placing value on caring for the health of our minds.

Cycles of mistakes and pain led Cameron to surrender to God. It was the surrendering that began his process of healing and confirmed that counseling was indeed the profession for him. He discovered that facing his brokenness brought him the clarity, peace of mind, and healing that he desired.  As a result, God used his pain to empower him and led him to his purpose.

Cameron is licensed in the state of Maryland (#LGP11339) and is under the clinical supervision of Dr. Jennifer Maxfield-DeCarlo, LCSW-C (MD #11153).
