Amy Patrick graduated from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary with a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Counseling. She was drawn to mental health counseling through the meaningful experience of walking alongside clients in their journeys toward healing and trauma recovery. Amy is continually inspired by the courage and resilience of those who strive to break generational cycles and heal from past wounds.
Amy is an EMDRIA approved EMDR therapist with specialized training in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing). She tailors treatment to each client’s unique needs, integrating trauma-informed care, Internal Family Systems (IFS), EMDR, and solution-focused interventions to support clients in achieving their goals.
Clients can expect a collaborative therapeutic relationship in which Amy seeks to understand and respond to their unique goals and needs. She helps clients build on their strengths and resources to navigate life’s challenges with greater hope and resilience. Amy has a particular interest in working with couples, individuals healing from church-related hurt, and women navigating a variety of life challenges. She considers it a privilege to use her diverse skills and experience to support clients as they pursue healing, growth, and lasting change.
