Edwin Terrence Alspaugh graduated from Johns Hopkins University with a master’s degree in Clinical Community Counseling. He was inspired to become a mental health counselor by those dedicated to furthering the healing, growth, and development of individuals and communities, and he finds it very rewarding to journey with those who strive to reach their potential and are committed to the health and welfare of others. 

Terrence is also a National Certified Counselor with the National Board of Certified Counselors and a Certified Family Trauma Professional with the International Association of Trauma Professionals. His areas of expertise include: ADHD management; anger management; anxiety management; addictions treatment and recovery – sexual, substance, and other addictions; grief and loss; divorce and blended families; relationship conflicts; self-esteem; social skills deficits; trauma; and PTSD. 

Clients will experience unconditional positive regard during treatment with Terrence.  He has great respect for those who are committed to working with a therapist on their goals of healing, growth, and development. He believes it is a privilege to journey with others who are seeking a future with hope in the counseling process and is motivated to pursue justice, show mercy, and walk humbly with God and others as they journey toward healing and wholeness.
