“Owning your story and loving ourselves through that process is the bravest thing that we will ever do.” -Brené Brown

Patricia Padgett graduated from Lancaster Bible College with a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She is inspired by the vulnerability and courage that clients demonstrate when they invite a counselor into their stories, reminding her that this work is sacred, purposeful, and transformative. Patricia is encouraged by the blending of professional therapeutic methods with the motivations of the heart and inner intuition, creating an approach that is both effective and deeply personal.

Patricia has a variety of specialties, including grief, domestic violence, and premarital life coaching. Her work is grounded in trauma-informed care to support clients as they process difficult experiences in a safe and respectful space. When requested, she can also integrate faith-sensitive counseling. Patricia’s approach blends evidence-based practices by incorporating several modalities to find the best fit for each individual.

Clients can expect a compassionate and supportive space where they are respected and empowered to explore their stories. Patricia recognizes that healing is a continual journey that clients and counselors navigate together. Her practice is grounded in creating an environment where growth feels possible, hope is nurtured, and each client’s resilience is honored.

Patricia Padgett, LGPC, is licensed in the state of Maryland (#LGP17856) and under the clinical supervision of Stephanie Sherrer, LCPC (# LC11063).
