Nelly brings to clinic a humanistic philosophy for both mind and body and an abiding commitment to individualized, personalized, comprehensive care for patients using both pharmacological and behavioral methods to treat common mental health issues. She aims to service the individual across the lifespan and their family members in a variety of settings and roles. Application of classic theories, research evidence, and a holistic bio-psycho-social-spiritual-cultural approach to clinical management application allows her to provide a comprehensive framework to care that also emphasizes health promotion and risk prevention.
While Nelly is a generalist trained as a Family Nurse Practitioner, she has 18 years of specialization working with women addressing across their hormonal and affective disorders within the reproductive and postmenopausal needs. She has her Master’s degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner, and is currently licensed in MD as an M.S.N. and C.R.N.P.
