Trust and building a strong therapeutic relationship is extremely important to Natalie. She understands that coming to therapy alone can be challenging and may cause anxiety however, she strives to provide a safe, relaxing atmosphere that helps client become more at ease and open to the counseling process. Natalie’s hope is to journey with each client along a pathway that helps them resolve innermost conflicts and challenges. It is important to Natalie that each of her clients are able to live their best life and are able to be their best self.

Natalie has worked with children (school-age), adolescents, adults and their families.  She has three years’ experience working with adults with severe and persistent mental illness. Her experience has helped her formulate a deep understanding of how life circumstances and health challenges impact wellbeing. She has attended trainings on how trauma affects a person’s life. She is passionate about her work and believes that an authentic relationship with her clients is essential in them developing greater self-awareness that leads to healing, change and positive growth. To help her clients, Natalie uses a variety of treatment modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma Focused CBT (TF-CBT), client-centered, and solution-focused, just to name a few. Natalie has a Master of Science in clinical mental health counseling from Loyola University Maryland, a Bachelor of Science in Human Services from Notre Dame of Maryland University with a concentration in direct care and she also majored in Religious Studies. In addition, she has an Associates of Applied Science in Human Services from Community College of Baltimore County with a concentration in counseling and mental health.

Natalie has one adult son who she raised as a single mother and she enjoys being a grandmother to her two grandchildren. In her free time, Natalie enjoys sewing, crocheting, painting, and designing jewelry. She has also used these crafts in her counseling room when appropriate.
