Melinda Hoffman, LCPC

Practicing Since: 1991

Melinda has worked in a variety of community and clinical settings throughout her career providing mental health services to children, adolescents, adults, and families. She has specialized training in Play Therapy, Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT); and Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM).

When working with clients her counseling style is primarily eclectic, tailoring one or more therapy modalities to each individual’s needs.  She often integrates a cognitive behavioral approach when appropriate, however does not use this technique exclusively.

She strives to meet each individual where they are in life’s journey as they address and work through challenging issues, overcome obstacles, and set realistic goals at a pace that is comfortable for them. She strongly believes in one’s ability to grow and change and deeply respects each individual’s personal journey and process.

Melinda is licensed in the state of Maryland #LC1123.
