Marie recognizes that everyone deals with some form of pain, struggles, changes, adjustments and transitions in life. She sees therapy as an investment in your overall health. As a therapist, Marie sees her role as facilitating her clients’ ability to identify and define presenting issues and experiences for themselves, collaborate in the creation of a mutually agreed upon, goal-oriented plan of treatment, and working with the client to foster existing strengths and resiliency in order to empower clients to achieve success in the goal and future. She utilizes the following treatment interventions to name a few:

Marie is a Licensed Master Social Worker in the state of Maryland. She received her Bachelor of Science in Social Work from Bridgewater State University and her Master of Social Work degree from Wheelock College now renamed Boston University (Wheelock College of Education & Human Development). Marie has had the opportunity to experience practicing as a mental health therapist, working with children, adolescents, adults, and older adults with depression, anxiety, PTSD, OCD, ADHD, and general emotional and behavioral concerns.

In her spare time, Marie loves to cook and spend time with family and friends. She enjoys hiking, Zumba, learning languages, traveling and road trips.
