Lee is a person-centered counselor who believes that people are creative and resilient, and have the resources within them to make profound positive change in their lives. Lee is a strong listener who engages closely with clients throughout the therapeutic process. He considers himself unabashedly nonjudgmental.

Lee is committed to collaborating and partnering with clients in order for them to achieve growth and healing. His baseline modality is person-centered therapy, however, he is truly eclectic in his approach. Lee has a growing toolbox and uses whatever technique is most beneficial to the client.

Lee served in the Fire Department for almost 20 years and achieved several levels of advanced rank. He attained his Master’s in Mental Health Counseling in 2020. He was a fellow in the Academy for Excellence in Local Government. Some of his other professional accomplishments include: completing the 16-month intensive training program Leadership Under Fire, serving as an active mediator for MultiDoor in Washington, DC, Community Resolution Center of Baltimore County (CRCBC), Prince George’s Community Collaborative Resolution Center (PGCCRC), and is certified in Telemental Health from PESI.

He has two adult children he considers as friends and counts this as a major life accomplishment. He enjoys craft beer and is an avid reader. His favorite solo location is the library. Some of his favorite things include: hiking, roadtrips, and his favorite jean jacket.
