Kristin Collins, Master’s Level Clinical Intern

Practicing since: 2026

Kristin Collins is pursuing a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University. With over 12 years of experience in ministry serving children, teens, and families, she was drawn to becoming a mental health counselor to meet people where they are in times of need. Building on that dedicated background, she aims to foster hope and meaningful change by creating a safe space where individuals can process their experiences and heal.

Kristin is also certified in SYMBIS assessment, equipping engaged and married couples with tools to strengthen their relationships, and she integrates this expertise into her clinical work. She specializes in working with teens and young adults, as well as couples and children.

Clients can expect a safe, supportive space to process their feelings and work toward healing and meaningful change. Inspired by watching her father care for others as a counselor, Kristin has had the privilege of celebrating people’s successes while also walking alongside them through their most difficult moments. The opportunity to do this work in a deeper, more impactful way ultimately led her to become a counselor.

Kristin Collins is an intern under the clinical supervision of Stephanie Sherrer, LCPC, licensed in the State of Maryland (#LC11063).
