Justin Bales graduated from Grand Canyon University with a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. His experience working in psychiatric care, crisis intervention, and community behavioral health led him to the field of mental health. Supporting individuals through crises, trauma, and recovery has reinforced his passion for helping others to build resilience and create significant, lasting change.
Justin is a National Certified Counselor as awarded by the NBCC (#1745465). His areas of specialty include suicide risk assessment, trauma-informed care, case management, substance use disorders, and the treatment of individuals with co-occurring disorders. In addition, he has experience providing victim advocacy, coordinating community resources, and supporting individuals through crisis stabilization and recovery, bringing a broad range of clinical and community-based expertise to his work.
Clients are welcomed into a compassionate, judgment-free environment where they can openly share their thoughts and experiences. Justin takes a collaborative, person-centered approach to help clients identify their strengths, develop practical coping skills, and work toward meaningful goals. The core values that guide his practice are compassion, empathy, respect, integrity, and collaboration. He believes every person has the capacity for growth and resilience when provided with a nonjudgmental space. He is committed to honoring each individual’s unique experiences while empowering them to achieve their personal goals.
