Jessica Magrath, Masters Level Clinical Intern

Practicing Since: 2022
Jessica provides a compassionate and non-judgmental environment that encourages a therapeutic alliance to meet her client’s needs. She keeps up to date on current research to provide modern best practices to address each person’s unique concerns.
Jessica believes that every person possesses the strength and capacity to improve their own
mental health, and that each person has the right to choose their own alternatives and make their own decisions. Her goal in therapy is to encourage each client to explore how changes in behavior and cognition can help them live their best life.
As a graduate of her school’s clinical mental health counseling program, Jessica has conducted extensive psychological research on human emotions and moral development. And her special clinical areas of interest include autism, ADHD, foster care, LGBTQ+, and spiritual issues.
In her leisure time, Jessica and her family like to travel, hike, ride bikes, watch movies and play with their dog.
Jessica Magrath is under the clinical supervision of Matthew Richardson, LCPC (Maryland license #LC7868).
