During which he gained his masters of counseling in 1987, and collaborated with his location ambulance company, providing counseling to those in the fire, police, and medical service between 1999 – 2019. It was during this time as well that Neil became the Director of his local Counseling Center, while training at York Hospital in their Chaplain Intern program until 2019 and worked as a bereavement counselor in a large Hospice facility during the Covid-19 pandemic. As well, Neil continued again to work with court adjudicated juveniles and adults, and sexual offenders and their family members up current year.

Having celebrated his 45th year of marriage with his wonderful wife Katy, who is a longtime nurse, EMS instructor, and amazing gardener and cook, Neil is also blessed with 4 grown children who are spread across Pennsylvania and beyond pursuing goals of medicine, teaching, and culinary arts.
