Practicing Since: 1995
In Dr. Kennedy’s role as a clinical psychologist, healer, and spiritual counselor, she believes in taking a collaborative approach that is designed to help individuals and families gain increased understanding and awareness of the internal as well as external factors that may be contributing to their social, psychological, behavioral, and/or emotional challenges and related struggles across settings. Dr. Kennedy is a co-facilitator in the wellness journey where the goal is for clients to gain increased insight into and self-awareness of the constructive changes that may need to occur within themselves, their family, and/or within their environment, as they seek to be and become the best version of themselves.
Dr. Kennedy takes an eclectic integrative strengths-based approach to treatment that draws on culturally informed family systems and multi-systemic approaches. Her goal and role, as therapist, is to empower clients to make the changes that they desire to make by providing clients with the therapeutic support, guidance, tools, and resources needed to bring about the constructive change and healing that they would like to make in their lives across settings by meeting each person where they are.
During her leisure time, Dr. Kennedy enjoys traveling domestically and abroad, listening to spiritually uplifting music, and spending quality time with family and friends.
Dr. Kennedy is licensed to practice in the state of Georgia (#PSY004725).
