Christina strongly believes that God created each person uniquely and beautifully. She partners with her clients in the healing process toward wholeness, recognizing it as a journey toward physical, emotional, social, and spiritual well-being. Focusing on their strengths, Christina provides an integrative approach using clinical and biblical interventions tailored to meet the needs of the client. She believes a key ingredient to successful counseling is a supportive and trusting relationship with the counselor.
Christina is passionate about helping children, adolescents, individuals, and families through the healing process to reach their best potential. She obtained her Masters of Social Work from Columbia University, as well as her Masters in Education from Bankstreet College of Education and Teacher’s College, Columbia University. She has experience in play therapy and working with parenting, trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), as well as with RULER, an evidence-based, social-emotional learning approach from Yale Center for Emotional Intelligence. Christina is married with twin boys. She enjoys creating projects and being outdoors with her family.
