About: Wanda Scott is a licensed clinical social worker with over 15 years of experience in the mental health field. She earned her Bachelor degree in Psychology from Salisbury State University in 1995 and her Masters of Social Work from Howard University in 1998. She has worked in a variety of settings such as outpatient clinics, hospitals and private practice. Her focus has been working with people with chronic mental illness and helping them to recognize and manage their symptoms. She has also been instrumental with people dealing with life transitions such as grief/loss, and relationship problems. She provides compassionate, and competent care to her clients. Her theoretical framework is eclectic with leanings toward cognitive behavioral and strengths models.
