Sonja Hall, LCSW

Sonja Hall is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from Savannah State University and a Master’s Degree in Clinical Social Work from Norfolk State University.

Sonja’s clinical practice is directed by her conviction that every person is created through God’s love for mankind. It is God’s desire that each of us have the opportunity to live a life full of happiness and joy. Her approach is one full of kindness, compassion, and the opportunity to share God’s love for all mankind.

Sonja has worked in various settings with diverse populations providing individual, couples, and group therapy. She has worked with adults’ diagnosis with serious mental illness and adolescent children at risk.

Today, Sonja has a special interest in working with adults struggling to maintain their independence in the community while living with mental illness. She also has an interest in working with couples to help develop better communication skills and deeper intimacy.

Sonja has been a member of her local church since she moved to Northern Virginia almost 5 years ago.  She has been married for over 30 years to her husband who shares her passion for working and serving others.
