Rev. Shawn McBride, M.A.
Rev. Shawn McBride is an ordained pastor and has been in Christian ministry for nearly two decades. He practices from a distinctly Christian perspective and integrates a biblical worldview into his work with individuals, marriages, and families. He is a gifted listener to the issues of hurting people and treats clients with a variety of issues, including emotional, relational, and spiritual needs.
Rev. McBride completed his under graduate studies at Washington Bible College where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Biblical Studies & Pastoral Ministry. He completed his post graduate training in 2001 at Capital Bible Seminary earning him a Master’s Degree in Christian Counseling.
Rev. McBride is the founder of the New Life Community Church in Bowie, MD, where he currently serves as the lead pastor. He is also the founder of Truth For Youth America and is a highly sought after speaker for youth, parents, and youth workers across the United States. He is happily married to his wife of 15 years and is the proud father of five children. Currently they make their home in the suburbs of Washington, DC.
