Sandy Chaplin, LCPC

Practicing Since: 2009

Sandy chooses to conduct therapy as listening sessions. Listening to her clients’ concerns and then sharing practical ways to help the client with anything that needs to be addressed helps to put her clients at ease so they feel welcome and comfortable to share their concerns is a main focus.

Sandy enjoys helping others. It is her life’s mission and brings her great pleasure. A large part of her work centers on working with adolescents and helping them to move into adulthood in ways that are healthy to ensure they become productive citizens. Because Sandy also teaches high school, she loves working with this population. Sandy earned her Master of Arts in Counseling from The College of New Jersey. She uses a range of treatment modalities, depending on the person and the need to be met.

Sandy is licensed in the state of Maryland #LC3264.
