Mia Kirby is a Licensed Certified Social Worker with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Xavier University of Louisiana and a Master's degree in Social Work from University of Maryland at Baltimore.
Mia has worked in challenging settings with diverse populations by providing individual, group, and family therapy. She has worked with children, adolescents, and families involved with the Department of Juvenile Services and Department of Social Services in Baltimore City and Baltimore County for the past three years.
Mia utilizes a strengths based, cognitive behavioral, and solution focused therapeutic modalities when providing therapeutic services. She feels that modalities are supportive in facilitating change in the lives of the clients, which she believes that she was called to this profession and to do. Mia strives to utilize her talents and gifts to serve God in working with Children, Adolescents, and Families.
Mia resides in Baltimore County with her husband, daughter, and dog Simon.
