Melanie McEntee, M.A., LCPC
Melanie completed a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology from Loyola College in Baltimore, Maryland. She is currently completing doctoral studies in Pastoral Counseling from Loyola College in Maryland. She is employed in the Department of Psychiatry at Johns Hopkins University as a research program coordinator. Her duties include working with the geriatric population in Alzheimer's disease research.
In both the academic and work settings, Melanie enjoys interacting with people from diverse ethnic, cultural, and religious backgrounds, and she is especially interested in the integration of psychology and spirituality. In the counseling setting, her areas of interest include working with people of all ages in cultivating and nurturing strengths in working with life change (working with the separated, divorced, and widowed, loss of career, career change), trauma and post traumatic stress, depression and anxiety, and stress management.
Melanie enjoys reading, Irish music and dance, outdoor activities, and travel with her husband.
