Marie is equipped with a wide range of methods to help others bounce back from stress and live life to the fullest. In addition to her specialized training she utilizes mindfulness, relaxation, journaling, and expressive therapies to enhance healing. About: Marie Celano is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with a Master Degree in Pastoral Counseling from Loyola University. Marie has worked with children, at-risk youth, young adults, couples, families, and older adults. While working at Job Corps, Ft. Meade, Baltimore County Schools and the Samaritan Women, she interacted with many victims of abuse and trauma.
Marie's experiences have led her to obtain further training in PTSD in order to help bring healing and life transformation. Additional training includes Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Regent University’s Heart Model, and the Traumatology Institute. Currently she is enrolled in the Allender Center’s Advanced Counseling Certificate program for understanding and engaging the impact of trauma and abuse.
