What Clients Can Expect: Tanya’s goal in counseling is to establish a positive environment where clients can feel safe and openly share their particular situation. She uses a cognitive behavioral approach to therapy but may employ other approaches to meet the needs of each client. Working collaboratively with clients to develop an individualized plan helps people to maximize the benefits they gain from counseling. Tanya’s goal is to guide each person through their individual mental health journey. The answers lie within each person and through the counseling process, each person is then empowered to achieve their goals.
About: Tanya has worked in the Mental Health Field for over 16 years. She brings her years of experience and training to guide individuals in their mental health journey. She is a bilingual therapist and can conduct sessions in English or Spanish. As an experienced therapist, Tanya helps individuals cope with anxiety, depression, grief & loss, parenting, anger management, separation & divorce, trauma, childhood disorders, self-esteem and individuals transitioning through the various stages of life. As a military spouse of 20 years, she has a passion for working military spouses, service members and their families.
