About: Lisa Pearson has a passion for seeing clients become whole in Christ Jesus and live the abundant, satisfied life God uniquely created and planned out for each person. She is always amazed at the tenderness and grace God extends to all who desperately seek Him no matter what the need or cause. Lisa offers a compassionate, listening ear to her clients and understands the need to filter all thoughts and situations through God’s Word and perspective, while using clinical counseling skills.
Lisa has a Master’s Degree in Community Counseling from George Washington University, is a Nationally Certified Counselor, and a member of both the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC) and the American Counseling Association (ACA). Her experience includes working as a professional counselor, crisis counselor, and case manager. Lisa also has five years of experience counseling survivors of sexual abuse and domestic violence (i.e. physical, verbal, emotional and spiritual).
Other interests include church ministry. In this capacity, Lisa had the opportunity to coordinate monthly fellowships, yearly retreats and serve as a workshop speaker. Additionally, she co-facilitated a Bible study for women.
