Kristin Laferty
Kristin Laferty received her Masters of Social Work from the University of Maryland at Baltimore in 2000. Upon graduating, she completed a post graduate fellowship at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Palliative Care Counseling.
Kristin began the practice of individual counseling after much experience in the areas of death & dying, and hospice. As a result, she specializes in grief & bereavement, adjustment to illness counseling, navigating family discord, anxiety, and depression. Having experience as a Young Life leader, Kristin also enjoys working with adolescents, especially teenage girls.
Kristin came to Safe Harbor with a heart to integrate her faith and helping others. She attends Grace Fellowship Church where she is also a member of their worship team. She is happily married to Craig and has a one year old son named Luke.
