Kathy Stadler,MA, LPC
Kathy has been a counselor for several years and recently received her Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor credential. Ms. Stadler understands that spirituality is a powerful component of the therapeutic process. She recognizes that we can be far happier than we allow ourselves to be and that life can be more meaningful and hopeful than we ever dreamed possible…. but only through a deep spiritual connection with Jesus and his transformative power.
Kathy believes we are created uniquely for God and that we have a distinct capacity and choice to reflect the goodness of his creation. Therefore, pursuing happiness and life satisfaction may be the result of discovering ways in which we can overcome our perceived limitations, forgiving others for their offenses against us, and/or making amends for our own transgressions.
Ms. Stadler is a very knowledgeable counselor and her counseling style is warm and genuine. In addition, Kathy unconditionally accepts each and every client. She knows that “God loves us just where we are, but love us too much to allow us to stay there.” This counseling style helps clients experience hope and healing through clinical interventions based on a spiritual perspective.
Whether she is working with adolescents or adults, Ms. Stadler specializes in alleviating the emotional pain and suffering associated with life transitions, addictions, employment/school difficulties, financial struggles, stress/depression/anxiety issues, as well as marital concerns. Kathy is a strong proponent of healthy self-care and seeks to educate and empower clients to identify and achieve their personal goals.
Ms. Stadler is a resident of Baltimore County, an active member in her local church, and has been a long-time participant and leader in Christian mentoring programs for women.
