Janis Dellman, LCSW-C
Janis Dellman is a Licensed Certified Social Worker with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Towson University and a Master’s degree in Social Work from University of Maryland.
Janis’ clinical practice is guided by her conviction that God desires His children to be emotionally whole and set free from destructive habits, unhealthy thought patterns, and the trauma of past hurts. Her approach is one of compassion and sensitivity towards all who are hurting and broken in spirit.
Janis has worked in various settings with diverse populations providing individual, group, and couples therapy. She has worked with children at risk in the elementary school system and in the Foster Care system of Harford County Department of Social Services.
Today, Janis has special interest in working with women struggling with depression, anxiety, and midlife issues. She also works with couples to facilitate deeper intimacy and develop better communication skills. As a counselor, Janis combines standard clinical practices with biblical principles and values.
Janis has been a member of her local church for the past 25 years. She's been married 26 years to a seminary graduate who shares in her passion for ministry and serving others.
