Dionne Au, LCSW-C
Dionne Au is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She attended the University of Maryland at Baltimore where she earned her Masters in Social Work with a specialty in drug and alcohol abuse. She has also been certified as an Addiction Counselor. She has been working in the field since 1999.
Her experience includes working with children in foster care, individuals with drug addictions, and mental health concerns. She works with both adolescents and adults. She utilizes a cognitive-behavior approach to therapy while also incorporating faith-based principles.
As a Christian, she believes strongly in helping others through difficult times through counseling and encouragement. She strives to create safe and non-judgmental environment to allow people to share their experiences.
She is married and has one son named Xavier. She is an active member of The River International Worship Center in Essex, Maryland.
