Cindy utilizes an eclectic approach in counseling, realizing every client is unique, has individual needs, and wants to meet them where they are in their life. She frequently utilizes techniques that include, but are not limited to, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Reality Therapy, Applied Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, DBT techniques, and Behavior Modification.
Cindy believes that with non-judgmental understanding and empathy, most people can learn to resolve their personal challenges and maintain productive lives. She believes that Christian support and sound biblical approaches are necessary to identify issues and promote lasting change.
In her own life, Cindy realizes that nothing can be accomplished without God’s strength and guidance. She has lived in Sanford, NC for the past 25 years, has three children, and one granddaughter. She enjoys church, photography, reading, sports, camping, and spending time with her husband Jake, and their animals.
