Carole Miller, MSW, LCSW-C
Carole Miller is a licensed Clinical Social Worker in Maryland and has been providing individual, family and group counseling services for over ten years in traditional therapy settings, in government and professional agencies, in various ministry and community settings, and even online. Carole has extensive experience working with individuals, including young children, adolescents and adults, and in working with diverse families and groups. She has also worked extensively in cross cultural settings with people of various backgrounds, ethnicities and spiritual beliefs.
Ms. Miller specializes in family systems and interventions, crisis and trauma therapies, depression and anxiety disorders, grief and loss, self-esteem issues, interpersonal relationships, spiritual healing and guidance, child play therapy, PTSD, dissociative disorders and related traumas, sexual and physical abuse, childhood traumas, sexual offense, domestic violence, divorce recovery, 12-step recovery and codependency issues. She has extensive experience providing brief treatment and insight-oriented therapies, as well as interpersonal therapy, task-centered and cognitive-behavioral approaches. She has extensive training regarding family dynamics and interventions, child abuse, domestic violence, offender therapies, PTSD and other traumas, depression, anxiety, spiritual abuse and more.
Ms. Miller is a professional in good standing and a member of The American Association of Christian Counselors and the International Society for Mental Health Online. She is also an active member of Grace Community Church and a small group leader. She earned her Master of Social Work degree and B.A. in Psychology at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC), graduating with honors and received the prestigious Corbally Award for Graduate Students from the University Scholarship Association.
