Adrienne Ellis, PsyD, LCPC
Dr. Adrienne B. Ellis is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in Maryland and the District of Columbia. She is also a National Certified Counselor and a Psychology Associate. Dr. Ellis has been providing individual and family therapy services to children, adolescents and adults for more than ten years.
Working with an array of clientele, she has provided services to those plagued with a variety of concerns such as, but not limited to those dually diagnosed with substance abuse and mental health problems, sexual abuse, depression, anxiety, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and oppositional defiant disorder (ODD). Her work focuses on utilizing various therapy techniques such as play therapy, cognitive behavioral, and behavior therapy.
Dr. Ellis began her professional education at Morgan State University where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. She received her Master’s Degree in Applied Psychology-Counseling from the University of Baltimore. In 2005 due to Dr. Ellis’ extreme compassion and devotion to the field of Psychology, she completed her Clinical Psychology Doctorate (Psy.D) from Argosy University.
Dr. Ellis currently resides in Prince George’s County, Maryland where she has a small private practice, providing consultation, therapy and psychological assessments. Dr. Ellis believes that God is not only a healer, but a deliverer and that all things are possible “through Christ which strengthens me” (Philippians 4:13)
